Hola! Bienvenidos! Don't worry, this post won't all be in Spanish. It just suits the occasion because I'm in TULUM, MEXICO! Mi amor and I got here on Sunday evening and will be here for a few weeks. I haven't posted in a while, but will continue to do some posts while I'm here. Since we've been here we have dabbled in some great vegan cuisine, took a salsa dancing class, we have been swimming in the crystal clear blue ocean, mingling with the locals and travelers, hitch hiking, eating local mangoes, bananas, dragon fruit, watermelon, and fresh squeezed oj. We plan on taking a scuba diving class and finding a legit shaman who leads spirit vine (ayahuasca) ceremonies. Ahhh, it feels so freeing here. We can go anywhere barefoot (and we have. I haven't put my shoes on once in two days), and if we need a ride we just stick out our thumb. It's super safe and the people we have gotten rides from are way cool. They are typically the rich Mexican locals who drive King Ranch edition Ford Explorers and ritzy sedans. We frequent a small vegan cafe owned by two Irish folks called, La Hoja Verde (The Green Leaf). One liter of fresh squeezed oj is only 20 pesos, which is about $1.80. Check out some Mexico pictures I have taken and I'll be back with more soon.
